Graduation

MANDATORY Graduation Assembly

Date: Friday, April 18 

Time: 11:15-12:00 pm (4th period)

Location: Pine Ridge High School Auditorium 

ALL graduating seniors must attend the graduation meeting. This includes seniors that are choosing not to walk at graduation. 

 

Graduation Rehearsal

Date: Friday, May 30 

Time: Seniors must be checked in with their student ID by 7:30 am. Rehearsal starts promptly at 8:00 am. 

Location: The Ocean Center, Daytona Beach, FL - 101 N. Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL, 32118

Important Notes:

• Rehearsal is MANDATORY
• Only the graduating senior may attend. Guests/family members will not be permitted inside the ocean center for rehearsal.
• Dress Code: please wear school appropriate clothing - do NOT bring your cap & gown
• Parking: Seniors may park in the lot directly next to the Ocean Center for free on the day of rehearsal. You may only park in this location for free during the time of rehearsal. All vehicles must exit the parking lot after rehearsal. 

 

Graduation

Date: Saturday, May 31

Time: Seniors must be checked in and in full graduation attire by 11:45. Commencement starts promptly at 12:30 pm.

Location: The Ocean Center, Daytona Beach, FL - 101 N. Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL, 32118

Ticket Information:

• Ticket Sales begin Thursday, May 1
• Price: $5 per ticket in advance
• All individuals requiring a seat must have a ticket
• There is no limit for the number of tickets you may purchase
• To purchase tickets:
  • Tickets must be purchased through the student's portal
  • You may purchase an unlimited number of tickets for graduation commencement; however, there are NO REFUNDS
  • Once the ticket is purchased, the senior will wait 1 full school day prior to picking up the tickets
  • Ticket Pick Up: The senior will pick up purchased tickets through the activities office during lunch only 1 full school day after placing the order through the student portal
  • Tickets may NOT be purchased with cash, card, or check in the activities office - only through the student portal
  • Tickets will be available the day of commencement at the Ocean Center on a first come, first serve basis

 

Parking Information:

• Parking Ticket Sales begin Thursday, May 1
• Price: $10 per parking pass in advance, $15 day of ceremony
• All vehicles require a parking pass
• All parking passes first come, first serve
• Please follow the same procedures for commencement tickets
  • To purchase parking passes:
    • Parking Passes must be purchased through the student's portal
    • There are NO REFUNDS
    • Once the tickets/parking passes is purchased, the senior will wait 1 full school day prior to picking up the tickets/parking pass
    • Parking Pass Pick Up: The senior will pick up purchased parking passes/tickets through the activities office during lunch only 1 full school day after placing the order through the student portal

Graduation Attire:

Permitted dress for male graduates:

• Dark (black, charcoal gray) or Khaki dress pants
• Black or white button-down dress shirt
• Dress Shoes
• Tie or Bow tie (optional)

Permitted dress for female graduates:

• Dress pants, skirt, or dress
  • Dresses and/or skirts may NOT be longer than the graduation gown
• Dress shoes
• If wearing dress pants, blouse must be black or white if visible above the zipped gown

NOT Permitted attire:

• Casual clothing
• Sneakers/athletic shoes
• Flip-flops, casual sandals, crocs

Permitted Sashes and Cords - Must be approved by Mrs. McMann or Ms Gregory

• Academic Honors (National/State/District)
• Military Recognition
• AA Degree Recognition
• School Organization Honors (NHS, SGA, ETC.)
• Program Distinctions (Cambridge)
• Official High School Award Ceremony Cords given at Senior Awards
• Eagle Scout Recognition
• Girl Scout Higher Awards

NOT Permitted Sashes/Cords:

• Personal or customized sashes
• National or cultural flag sashes
• Non-academic sashes
• Cap decorations
