Mr & Miss Pine Ridge
Mr. and Miss Pine Ridge is among the most esteemed honors at Pine Ridge High School, serving as the face of the student body. These individuals are dedicated to promoting diversity, embracing technology, and shaping a future that supports the lifelong success of our students. In addition to this, they carry the responsibility and privilege of representing our school within the Deltona community. As campus leaders, Mr. and Miss Pine Ridge must actively engage in school activities while maintaining exemplary academic performance, behavior, and social standing to contribute meaningfully to the success of their peers.
To be named Mr. or Miss Pine Ridge, students must compete in a challenging and dynamic competition. Eligibility is limited to members of the junior cohort. The contest begins with an interview conducted by a judging panel, where applicants answer a series of questions based on their submitted applications.
During the event, contestants participate in a lively opening act choreographed by the Pantherettes Dance Team. They also share a favorite quote and explain its significance in one minute or less, perform a talent for the live audience, and respond to an on-stage question, showcasing their ability to think and communicate effectively under pressure.
At the conclusion of the competition, one male is crowned Mr. Pine Ridge, and one female is crowned Miss Pine Ridge, earning the honor of representing their school with pride and distinction.
