End of Course Exams
All students are expected to participate in the End of Course Exams for the following subjects:
- Biology,
- US History,
- Geometry,
- Algebra 1,
- ELA Grade 10,
- FCLE Civics Literacy Exam
The statewide assessments are criterion-referenced tests that are intended to measure whether students have made progress on the B.E.S.T. ELA and Mathematics Standards and Florida’s Science and Social Studies Standards. Statewide assessments are developed to meet specific technical criteria and to ensure that all students have access to the test content via principles of universal design and appropriate accommodations.
Statewide assessments are delivered in a computer-based test (CBT) format with a paper-based test (PBT) format available as an accommodation for eligible students. The item types listed in this section vary based on subject and delivery mode.
Scores on a 1-5 scale. A score of 3 or above is passing.

Students participate in various types of progress monitoring assessments to measure the understanding of course materials throughout the year.

All students must be registered for their AP tests by November 15.
*Any student in Semester only courses (such as, AP government/AP economics) will register for semester 2's AP course in the spring. Date for registration TBA.
Students who do NOT sit for their registered exam will receive an obligation of $90.

AICE Cambridge Testing
AICE Exams: April 19-June 11
The AICE Coordinator ensures all students are registered for the exams they need.
Students who do not sit for their registered exam will receive an obligation of $123, unless they miss Global Perspectives testing which will result in a $213 obligation.

SAT and SAT School Day
Students may register for the SAT on their own time by creating or using their College Board accounts.
The SAT is offered on campus during school hours twice per year. In the Fall, Grades 9-11 participate in the PSAT and Seniors Grade 12 participate in the SAT. In the Spring, Grade 11 and select seniors participate in the SAT for a second time.
The digital SAT is composed of two sections: Reading and Writing and Math. Students have 64 minutes to complete the Reading and Writing section and 70 minutes to complete the Math section for a total of 2 hours and 14 minutes.
Each section is divided into 2 equal length modules, and there is a 10-minute break between the Reading and Writing section and the Math section. The first module of each section contains a broad mix of easy, medium, and hard questions. Based on how students perform on the first module, the second module of questions will either be more difficult or less difficult.
Compared to the ACT®, the SAT provides 68% more time per question:

ACT and ACT NCR
ACT Non-College Reporting, also known as ACT NCR, is an exam given to select juniors and seniors that are still in need of Algebra 1 and/or ELA Grade 10 concordant scores for graduation.
Students that are eligible to participate in the ACT NCR will be contacted by Miss Gregory.
ACT NCR Test Date for Spring:
The ACT consists of four multiple-choice tests in English, mathematics, reading, and science. The four multiple-choice sections contain 215 questions and take 2 hours and 55 minutes to complete. After the mathematics test, You will be given a 15-minute break.
If you take the optional writing test you will have 40 minutes to complete the essay and will receive an additional 5-minute break before the writing portion begins.

CLT
The Classic Learning Test is a college entrance exam geared toward 11th and 12th graders. The CLT contains three sections: verbal reasoning, grammar & writing, and quantitative reasoning. The test is approximately 2 hours long. Scores are released the following Wednesday after testing.
Juniors and Seniors participating in the CLT must have a signed consent form given by Miss Gregory. After participating in the test, a $34.50 testing obligation will be added to the student's portal.
