Pine Ridge High School is proud to offer students the opportunity to join the internationally recognized Cambridge AICE Diploma Cohort. If you’re ready for a rigorous and rewarding academic experience, follow the instructions below to apply. All parts of the application must be submitted to be considered.

To complete your AICE Diploma application, the following items are required:

• A handwritten personal essay

• Two teacher recommendation forms

If you are planning to attend college and need to have your Cambridge AICE exam scores sent, you must request an official transcript directly through Cambridge International.

What You’ll Need:

Before submitting your request, make sure you have the following information:

• Your Candidate Number

• The exam series you participated in (e.g., June 2023, November 2023)

• Pine Ridge High School Centre Number: UX414

Once submitted, your official transcript will be sent to the college or university of your choice.

The Cambridge AICE Diploma is awarded to students who successfully complete a rigorous and internationally respected academic program. Courses are divided into four subject groups:

• Group 1: Math & Sciences

• Group 2: Languages

• Group 3: Humanities

• Group 4: Interdisciplinary

 

To Earn the AICE Diploma, Students Must:

• Complete 7 total credits from AS- and A-level Cambridge courses

• Credits must include:

  • 1 credit in AS Global Perspectives & Research (Core Requirement)

  • 1 credit from Group 1 (Math & Sciences)

  • 1 credit from Group 2 (Languages)

  • 1 credit from Group 3 (Humanities)

  • 3 additional credits from any group

    • Note: Only 2 of these 3 may be from Group 4 (Interdisciplinary)

• Earn a passing grade of A–E on each AICE exam

• Complete all 7 qualifying credits within 25 months of sitting for the first AICE exam

 

Cambridge provides flexibility in course selection, allowing students to personalize their pathway to the diploma while meeting core academic requirements.
